Founder Story

I’m Stacy, the Founder and CEO of Planetarie, and I’m really glad you are here.  At Planetarie, we believe in your good health, we strive for your well-being, and we do everything we do from the conviction that plant-based health is a better way.

Some of my closest friends have asked me, with some disbelief, why I would attempt to start a company with all of the difficulties that includes, not to mention in the middle of the sort of volatile times we’ve all just experienced. I get that question, and I agree that it seems like a crazy time to start a company. But I believe deeply in the possibility of plant-based health, and I wanted to do everything in my power to make natural human well-being a reality for as many people as I could.

I’ve written out my reasons in detail, and I hope that as you read them, you agree with our mission and join us for better well-being.

I started Planetarie:

To bring a healthier, more natural & sustainable method for extracting cannabinoids, maintaining their raw stable state, without harmful chemicals, solvents, or pressure.

To bring natural plant healing to the mainstream.

To reduce the stigma associated with this precious plant medicine that has been demonized as a "drug" for far too many years, and showcase her healing benefits.

Because after 15 years as a medical provider, I saw first-hand the chronic pain epidemic in this country, as well as the opioid addiction problem (The U.S. has 5% of the world's population and consumes 80% of the opioids).

Because as a lifelong athlete, I also needed something healthy and powerful to reduce inflammation in my joints and enable more of the sports I love.

Because humans keep thinking we can do things better than nature, and it is continually proven to not be so.

Because there simply IS a better way, and I am out to prove that we can do things differently, with Integrity, Science, Innovative Medicine, and also be a great business!

Because why not? Why not now? Why not us?  Why not a country girl with a diverse background who is not afraid to stand up and say there is a better way, and promoting health is important?
