The Planetarie Difference

Only CBDa is a selective COX-2 inhibitor, making it a plant-based alternative to traditional NSAIDs for pain management — without the harmful side effects.
The POWER of CBDa
CBDa is the acidic precursor to CBD and the way it is actually grown in the hemp plant. Scientific research shows it to be up to 1000x more potent than CBD, and only CBDa is a selective COX-2 inhibitor, making it a plant-based alternative to traditional NSAIDs for pain management -- without the harmful side effects.

Only Planetarie uses a proprietary water extraction technology to produce fully stabilized, raw CBDa, delivering the most bioavailable medical benefits of hemp to those seeking a pure form of natural pain relief.
RAW vs “COOKED”
Our “farm to table” philosophy makes all the difference. Our living dynamic bodies recognize fresh raw foods closer to the earth and prefer them over cooked and processed foods, which can be leached of nutrients and health benefits. Think of fresh, pulled-from-the-ground carrots versus canned carrots. Canned processed carrots do still contain beta-carotene, Vitamins A, K, and Calcium, but in far less quantities and are less absorbed by the body.

The same is true with harnessing the benefits of the hemp plant. If you were to juice the hemp plant, you would get the raw acidic cannabinoids, or CBDa. By using our proprietary water extraction process, we are able to preserve the raw form of the acidic precursor to CBD, in the form of CBDa, which means you are getting the full benefits of the raw hemp plant.

Water Extraction vs. Ethanol or CO2

Until now, there have been two main processing methods for CBD. The first is CO2, which is a combination of heat (which decarboxylates the CBDa in the plant, diminishing its potency and efficacy) and high pressure (which damages the bioassay -- or “life force” activity -- of the cannabinoids). The second is ethanol, a flammable and potentially harmful chemical, which can accumulate in your body and diminishes the potency of the cannabinoids and destabilizes the raw benefits of the CBDa, rendering it less effective. Many times CO2 extraction is touted as healthy but it also commonly uses ethanol to recapture lost phytochemicals.

Only Planetarie uses a water extraction method to extract a stable CBDa as close to the cannabis plant as possible, retaining all the benefits while adding nothing of harm. This is better for you and better for the environment.
Selective COX-2 Inhibitor
Selective COX-2 Inhibitor
Unlike regular CBD, CBDa in its raw and stable form is scientifically shown to be a selective COX-2 inhibitor. COX-2 is the enzyme largely responsible for inflammation. Traditional pain relievers, like NSAIDs, target COX-2 and COX-1. COX-1 helps protect the stomach and intestinal lining. That is why your stomach may hurt when taking traditional pain relievers. Our mission is to improve well being, without the harm of addictive prescription drugs or the side effects of many medications. Planetarie CBDa is a plant-based and safe alternative to NSAIDs and a favorite among athletes and doctors.
Colorado grown and manufactured
Colorado grown and manufactured
Did you know that China is the world’s largest hemp manufacturer and the ingredient supplier to many CBD brands? Hemp plants are bioaccumulators and absorb everything in the air and soil. Each Planetarie formula starts with only Colorado-grown USDA-organic certified hemp plants. We control the entire life cycle of our formulas, from plant to product in our cGMP and organic-certified facility in Colorado.
